This project involved a full renovation of the main floor, including a complete kitchen transformation, upgraded living and family spaces, and a new gas fireplace feature wall. The homeowners wanted a brighter, more open layout with modern finishes and improved functionality throughout their primary living areas.
The existing main floor layout felt closed off and dated, with a half wall separating key living spaces and limited visual flow. The kitchen lacked storage efficiency, the fireplace needed upgrading, and finishes throughout the level no longer reflected the homeowners’ style. The goal was to create an open, cohesive design while upgrading multiple rooms at once.
Germano Creative completed a full main floor renovation by removing the dividing wall between the family and living rooms and redesigning the kitchen layout with improved storage and work zones. A new gas fireplace with a stone feature surround was installed to create a focal point, while updated flooring and lighting unified the entire level. The powder bathroom was also fully renovated to match the modernized main floor design.
The open-concept layout improved sightlines and traffic flow between the kitchen, family room, and living room. Storage efficiency was enhanced through custom cabinet solutions, including magic corners and integrated pull-outs. The fireplace feature wall provides a strong visual focal point, while mixed flooring materials define zones without disrupting continuity. Matte black accents and clean-lined cabinetry create a balanced contrast against light finishes.
The renovated main floor now functions as a bright, open living space designed for everyday use and entertaining. Improved layout, upgraded finishes, and modern lighting significantly enhanced comfort and usability.
