Project Summary:

This basement was designed for the larger family who needed extra recreational space for their teenage kids, which includes a family room with an entertainment wall unit and a games room.

Project Included

  • Framing, drywall/taping, electrical, and plumbing
  • Cutting the wall at the bottom of the basement stairs into a half wall, and making an opening into the load bearing wall for an open concept design
  • Building a contemporary entertainment wall unit that includes 1 TV niche and 1 niche with 4 shelves
  • Installation of suspended ceiling with 2ft by 2ft beveled edge ceiling tiles
  • Installation of 3-piece bathroom
  • Installation of ceramic tile for bathroom floor, walk-out foyer entrance, and hallway
  • Finish carpentry and painting
  • Berber carpet installed in family room, recreational room, and for basement stairs and stringers
